‘Commit’ In Commit to the Song refers to a relentless, never-ending focus on your goal. It permeates every waking moment of your life as well as your dreams and influences every decision you make. It becomes your purpose  and gives your life meaning. Impediments cease becoming obstacles and instead become opportunities to grow and learn. It requires action ‘doing'

Easy’ and ‘guaranteed success’ are no part of the equation. There are no ‘short-cuts’ and there is no ‘time limit’. It becomes who and what you are…that in itself is the reward. You have to make ‘sacrifices’ but in pursuit of your purpose  those sacrifices cease being ‘painful’ or ‘doing without’ and become stepping stones on your path. Never rely on the validation or judgement of others to determine your success. Only YOU get to make that determination.

Find what you love and let it kill you.”---Charles Bukowski

First acronym I ever drew on my hand with a sharpie, ‘QB’ quarterback  reminding me I was calling the plays for my life and no one else was going to control or decide what was best for me. This was before a gig with Adam Hood in Auburn, Al. back in summer of 2006. Things were tough on me then.

Birth of Commit to the Song shortly before midnight on Monday March 19th, 2012 in Auburn, Al. lot #224 of Conway Acres trailer park on Wire Rd.

The first Joe Thomas Jr. Guitar Pull was taking place the next night and for me it was going to be 'All or Nothing'. And indeed it was 'All' with nothing left on the table. Changed my life forever and opened up a world of possibilities I never knew existed for me.
